Course Overview

This course will enable competent functional testers testers (3BL ) to test Route Relay Interlockings constructed in accordance with the BRS-SW-67 typical circuits.

 

Course Content includes:

* Understanding of Circuits
* Push Button Interlocking
* Route Interlocking and Sectional Route Locking
* Points Interlocking and interfaces
* Aspect Controls and signal interfaces
* Route Normalisation
* Indications circuits
* Understanding how the circuits relate to signalling principles and control tables
* Interlocking Circuit Testing techniques
* Circuit testing and understanding exercises.

The course includes theory and practical assessments to demonstrate the skills gained

The course contains significant practical exercise time on a working interlocking at our training centre.
