Course Overview

* Underpinning knowledge matched to the IRSE Functional Tester Licence

Subject to agreement the course may be run at a client’s specified location. Follow-up workplace assessment is available.

Principal Course Elements are:

* Preparing to perform tests on trackside equipment
* Verification of trackside equipment installation
* Track circuit testing
* Point testing
* Signals, AWS and TPWS testing
* Recording and Documentation
* Error Reporting

The course includes activities on relay based and Solid State Interlocking (SSI) systems.
