Joining Instructions

If you are booked on a course with us, specific joining instructions will be issued in good time to your training administrator.

If you have not received joining instructions a few days before the event, please contact Isobel or Karen on 01332 343585 or enquiries@signet-solutions.com

If you are unable to get specific information, the following will provide a last resort guide:

One-day courses or assessments usually start at 0930.

Multiple day courses usually start at 1030 on the first day, and 0930 on subsequent days.

Safety footwear and overalls are advised for courses of a practical nature.

High visibility clothing or wet weather gear are not usually necessary as all practical equipment is inside.

If you are attending an SMTH (initial or recertification) or signalling failure investigation (SFI) type course, you should bring your handbook with you.

If you have not received a parking permit the security guard at the gate will issue you with one which you should display on your dashboard. He will then direct you to the car park opposite Kelvin House. It is not permitted to park in the vistor parking places which are in front of the Derwent House and Kelvin House buildings.

Registration

We like to welcome delegates to Signet Solutions and endeavour to assist them in any way we can and ensure that the time spent with us will be both beneficial and informative as well as pleasant and enjoyable. We are continually looking for ways to encourage and reinforce the service we provide.

On arrival you are welcomed by Isobel or Karen, who will ask you to complete a short form (the information or which remains confidential) and offer you a coffee in our lounge area before showing you to your designated classroom.
