Who Should Attend This Course?

This course is intended for signal engineers, who are Works Location Verification and Functional testers, to become Trackside Equipment Verification and Functional testers.

Perform Verification of trackside equipment installation
Perform Functional testing of trackside equipment including
- Track circuits
- Points
- Signals, AWS and TPWS
Record and Document test activities
Report errors identified during testing

A well prepared delegate is expected have

EITHER a Module 3BL competence
OR a Module 3c competence and a waiver from the Employer; and good knowledge of electrical
Principles, sufficient Log Book evidence showing suitable work experience and be able to 'read' circuit diagrams.
