Who Should Attend This Course?
This course is intended for signal engineers, who are Works Location Verification and Functional testers, to become Trackside Equipment Verification and Functional testers.
Course Content and Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:
- Prepare to perform tests on trackside equipment
- Perform Verification of trackside equipment installation
- Perform Functional testing of trackside equipment including
- Track circuits
- Points
- Signals, AWS and TPWS
- Record and Document test activities
- Report errors identified during testing
Entry
Requirements
A well prepared delegate is expected have
- EITHER a Module 3BL competence
- OR a Module 3c competence and a waiver from the Employer; and good knowledge of electrical
- Principles, sufficient Log Book evidence showing suitable work experience and be able to 'read' circuit diagrams.
